The Sart Day refers to merit-making activities in the middle of the year, and if counted by the lunar calendar, falls on the fifteenth day of the waning moon of the tenth lunar month (usually some time during September). The Sart Day is the traditional of the country in South East Asia; especially in Thailand, Lao, and Cambodia. In Thailand people called “Sart Thai” or “Salak” in Lao and Northeast of Thailand called “Boon Kao Sark”. In other Buddhist country call “Buppa Peta Pali” this day Buddhist people go to the temple and make offering to the monks as usual and refer the merit to their relatives who’s passed away.
