Suvarnabhumi Airport is an international airport providing its services to Bangkok, located at Racha Thewa of Smaut Prakan Providence which is 25 kilometers from Bangkok. It is one among the two international airports of Thailand, established in the year 2006 on September 15th. Initially it is used to run the domestic flights but later on i.e. from 28th September 2006 it became a runway for the international flights too. The word Suvarnabhumi have came from a Sanskrit word which means a “Golden Land”. The architecture of this airport is very good and the Designer of this airport is Helmut Jahn.
